Product description

RecallIt is a personal knowledge-library application that lets users save, organize, edit, search, archive, restore, open, and delete links and related notes. Core library functions are designed to work locally on the device.

Features may change as the application develops. The operator may add, modify, suspend, or remove features while taking reasonable care to protect compatibility and locally stored data.

Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If local law requires parental or guardian permission, you may use RecallIt only with that permission.

  • Use RecallIt only for lawful purposes.
  • Do not use it to facilitate harm, infringement, fraud, malware distribution, or unlawful access.
  • Do not reverse engineer or interfere with the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Do not misuse sharing features to process content you are not permitted to possess or use.

Your responsibility for saved content

You retain rights in the titles, notes, collection names, and other content you create. RecallIt does not claim ownership of your local library.

Links and external content belong to their respective owners. Saving a link does not grant permission to copy, distribute, or use linked content unlawfully. You are responsible for what you save and for complying with applicable laws and third-party rights.

Device data and backups

RecallIt stores its primary library locally and does not promise cloud backup or cross-device recovery. Android automatic backup is disabled in the current release configuration.

RecallIt provides manual password-encrypted export and restore through Android’s document picker. It is not cloud sync or automatic backup. RecallIt cannot recover a lost password. Restore validates the file and replaces the current local library, so export the current library first if it may be needed.

Uninstalling RecallIt, clearing app data, losing or damaging the device, a lost password, a missing or damaged export, or an operating-system failure may permanently remove locally stored information. Keep separate protected copies of critical or irreplaceable information.

Links and third-party content

RecallIt may open saved HTTP or HTTPS links in an external browser or compatible app at your request. When Fetch link previews is enabled, RecallIt may also contact the saved website and its declared image host after saving, or YouTube’s thumbnail host for supported YouTube URLs. The setting can be disabled, retrieval is optional, and preview failure does not undo a save.

The operator does not control or accept responsibility for the availability, security, legality, accuracy, or privacy practices of external services. Their own terms and policies govern your use.

Advertising

RecallIt may display restrained banner advertisements supplied by Google Mobile Ads on eligible screens. Availability, content, and personalization may depend on region, consent, device settings, network access, and Google’s services.

RecallIt does not guarantee that an advertisement will be available or suitable and does not endorse every advertised product or service. An advertiser’s destination is a third-party service. Interactions or transactions with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser.

This section, the Privacy Policy, consent configuration, and store disclosures require qualified legal and policy review before public release.

Intellectual property

The RecallIt name, logo, visual identity, application code, documentation, and original content are owned by or licensed to Nichips Technologies ltd, except for open-source components and third-party materials governed by their licenses.

These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use RecallIt for personal or authorized organizational purposes, subject to applicable store and platform rules. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

Privacy

RecallIt’s handling of information is described in the RecallIt Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If the released app’s data practices change, the policy and relevant store disclosures must be updated.

Availability, support, and updates

The operator may issue updates for security, compatibility, features, or reliability. Some updates may be required for continued use. Do not install an older build over a newer database unless release documentation explicitly supports that downgrade.

RecallIt may be offered as described in the applicable store listing. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or external app, or permanent availability through a particular app store.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RecallIt is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the app will be error-free or prevent all data loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nichips Technologies ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use RecallIt.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these provisions may not apply to you.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or costs arising from your unlawful misuse of RecallIt, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights. This clause does not apply where prohibited by consumer law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using RecallIt at any time by uninstalling it. The operator may suspend distribution or support where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform requirements, or product discontinuation. Termination does not automatically recover or preserve information stored only on your device.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated when RecallIt’s features, business model, legal obligations, or distribution arrangements change. The effective date will be revised. Material changes should be communicated through the app, website, or store listing as appropriate.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, they shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.

Nothing here prevents a consumer from using rights or forums that cannot lawfully be waived.

General provisions

  • If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
  • Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • You may not transfer these Terms without permission; the operator may transfer them as part of a lawful reorganization, sale, or assignment.
  • These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement for use of RecallIt unless additional written terms apply.
